Kevin, I am 2850 so I am lighter. My engine is an LA Dismantler special (valves are completely coked, but no leaks). Glen Crawford has about 4hp more than my car so we have some fun drag races down the straights. His G car is running 2:11 at the Glen so he is cooking. Saw you at Tbolt. I ran GT4s so not to ballast up. It was difficult staying in front of Dan Yonkers as he was driving well and had the car setup correctly for conditions. That was my first PCA race in awhile. Hope to do one more this year with some more power. BTW this thread had morphed into the subject of how good a 993 would be next to a newer car. On tracks with aero it would be a little of a challenge, but most of the East Coast tracks a 993 is very competitive. Bump for Daves car to sell, but keep away from the East Coast.

Actually my final ratio is 1.04 with a tall tire in the back. Top speed should be 154. Just not enough snot to get there.

What would be the difference between this car and a 993 cup (gtc2 legal) ?
both in terms of weight, time, and overall feel ...

GTC2 races at 2614 with driver
993 RS races at 2944 with driver

The GTC2 cars should be around 3-5 seconds a lap quicker than the stock classed car on a 2.5 mile track

The GTC2 car will feel lighter, quicker, faster, etc. (i.e. mo betta)

Wow. Now I feel as though I need to defend the slow times...and yes, like all racers, there is a story....

Thanks for the compliment. The car is excellent and the driver learned a lot driving that car. I've had two interested parties contact me in the last couple of days about purchasing it. I can't express how much fun this car is to drive. If economic conditions were different, I'd keep it forever.
