Default Lodging at Summit Point?

Looking for suggestions on places to stay for the CR at Summit Point. Prefer a major chain or at least something clean, comfortable and close to the track.

Thanks.

Hampton Inn in Inwood. 10 min to track, right off Rt. 81, Brand new (2 years) Charlestown spots are closer to "nightlife", but I think this is cleanest and nicest

10mins, man you guys must drive at track speeds to the hotel. I have been going to SP for over 10years and have never figured out how to get to either of those places that fast. There is also the Paddock Inn, but likely booked. It is pretty much at the track (5miles away). We just camp now and the commute is pretty good. If I had a choice the H Express is better than the the Hampton. Very quiet, plenty of room to pull in first night. Hampton is tight on parking at times and much more road noise.

The Sleep Inn in Winchester, VA is relatively inexpensive, has a free breakfast, decent rooms and is about 15 minutes away. Most people seem to stay somewhere in Winchester.

Two Hampton Inns, one is Route 7. A Marriott Town Suites, Fairfield Inn. Several others. The Hamptons are nice with free breakfast as is the Fairfield. The Town Suites is new but a lousy breakfast. Close to Starbucks however.

We've stayed at a lot of the Martinsburg chain motels. Right now, we prefer the Comfort Inn. Little bit of a drive, but rather inexpensive/good value. Real easy trailer parking, and cheap gas across the street, too.

I've stayed at both Hampton Inns - they are fine. I prefer the one further south -- it is closer to the Cork Street Tavern -- great place for steaks!

You can sleep out at the track, if you want. Beats a cheap motel with bedbugs.

I have stayed a number of times at the HDI Express in Winchester off 522
Also recommend that Hampton in Winchester off 7 - right across from a Five Guys
