Barely, I am at total ease with what happened today. The fastest driver with the fastest car won, fair and square. No way to argue with that. It was Alonso's/Ferrari's race to lose and they lost it with a very questionable pit strategy.
Thanks for your loving care though . Interesting to see you have that number handy. Carry it in your wallet? lol

Disappointing race from an excitement standpoint. Vettel ran away.....and was never really challenged.
Alonso couldnt get past Kubica, and hence Webber couldnt get past Alonso. BORING.
Vettel was handed the win (he deserved it for winning pole) and was never really challenged. I thought Hamilton was going to give him a battle but that never really materialized. I was hoping Webber was going to have a great run, but he left his A game at home.

Congrats to Vettel. He does deserve to win the WDC with his 10 poles.

Makes me wonder if RBR forced their hand by pitting Webber early. They already knew Webber had no chance, why not trick their competition into pitting and removing the only obstacle from their other driver.
Kudos to RBR. Job well done.
Ferrari, did not have the car to compete today. Renault looked very strong and could be a force to reckon with next yr.
Glad to be able to share this season.

Let's hope next season is just as competitive and there is a lot of young talent out there who showed awesome improvement as the season progressed. That really was an awesome "virtually mistake free" drive by Petrov today.

Agree.
Typical characteristics of another Tilke circuit. No passing unless there is a huge straighline advantage.

When the commentators have to tell you how exciting the "race" is..something's amiss.

Pretty boring overall, though Vettel is a very deserving winner. Congrats to him and all his fans.

Vettel is a deserving WDC, he put it to them by blowing their doors off, and that's exactly as it should be. I just hope next year is as exciting.

I thought it was a great race. The guy that won the WC deserved the victory. Ferrari/Alonzo really screwed up the pit stop. Weber pitted early and fell way back. So Ferrari, said "that looks like a good idea, lets pit and fall way back". Vettel waited and won, Hamilton waited and finished 2nd, Button waited and finished third. If Alonzo had waited he would have been fourth. Did they not see that Petrov was going to be ahead of Alonzo with Ferrari's early stop. What a bunch of morons

Bill, you know when a driver should pit is typically a team strategy and the driver has very little input. In most instance, the driver might ask for an early pit if he is having some issues with tire graining or such. This call was a team call, not a driver call. Alonso is defending it, which he should as a team player. They were too concerned about Webber and pretty much gave up their race chances.
It was not up to Alonso to wait. The team called him in and he followed orders.

Each of the contenders have had their share of mistakes and bad luck. At the end of the day, Vettel put in a very strong close to the season and is a deserving world champion.

Webber and Alonso also had terrific seasons and should be proud of what they have done. The McLaren guys were very solid too, and certainly are ending the season on a strong note.

I actually did find the race exciting when I realized that Alonso needed to get past Petrov and Rosberg. With something like 30 laps to go, it seemed a strong possibility, but Petrov did not make any mistakes - impressive drive.

Yes Vettel, i have been saying for a while he would be champion. Alonso did not come to race today, he took it easy on the start and it was all over from there!

Memo to Sir A.Wayne:
Would you like me to change your signature for you?
"1 day 14hrs 12 mins 33 seconds to the Abu Dahbi GP and Alonso's 3rd WDC"
I think it might be just a little bit longer until your number is called.

Memo to Raj:
Would you mind terribly bringing my bags back upstairs and unpacking them for me? Evidently, I am no longer leaving.

Memo to Luca:
No, I think your wadrobe choices looked great on camera this weekend.

Memo to my Doctor:
No, 4 hours isn't long enough, please leave me alone and let me enjoy this.

Memo to Santander:
Great marketing strategy:

And to Alonso, thanks for making 2010 so memorable:

Now we know what happens when the people in front of Alonso aren't ordered to let him pass.

Congrats Vettel!

Clearly a conspiracy since they were Renault powered cars. Petrov (and Rosberg in front of him) were clearly slowing down everyone in an effort to protect Vettel.

Congratulations to Ron Dennis ... $100 million doesn't seem so bad now, does it?

Failure of a 2x WDC, the best driver in F1 (as voted by his fellow drivers), driving for the most famous/favored team in F1, to pass a rookie....in a Renault... Kudos to Petrov, you drove well.

I can't wait for the spin, excuses, etc ....
