Default Race wheel suppliers

I'm starting to search for new wheels for next season. I'm aware of Keizer's (Buckley Racing), Kodiaks, Braid (Bill Comat), Fikse (Kodiak), BBS, and CCW. What others are out there making custom wheels with custom offsets? Cheap(er) is good, weak(er) is not...

though not necessarily cheaper you should add Jongbloed to your list. when i was looking i thought Kodiak had the best cost/performance blend.

Gary,

I just went through this process myself and decided to get Kodiak wheels for my new race car project. I am going to buy these through Jeff Alton.

Another option is Bogart.

Some guys around where I am have had cracking issues with the Jongbloed wheels so you should check that out thoroughly before going that route.

I would look closely to Forgeline...I have 5 sets of their wheels and have been extremely satisfied. Dave/Forgeline is now a Rennlist sponsor and a very strong supporter of PCA racing.

Most of these wheel builders do not offer 15"s... which I think is what Gary is asking.

BBS, Buckley, and Kodiak do. CCW does not. I don't think Forgeline or Fikse do either. Not sure about Jongbloed.

I guess the new motto in D and E class is:

"Smaller is better"...........

It just doesn't sound right..............

Jongbloed for sure. They make 15s in the JRW316 Aero model. Very light (I had 2 sets of 16s on my previous race car...) Problem is the price imho. At least 2500/set in 15 inch.

Woodman tires can procure BBS's in 15 inch too. Not the greatest availability.

Paolo: it doesn't sound right i agree... but hey, small and efficient always trumps big and lazy...at least that's what they say. 15 inch wheels would help your car's performance btw.

He already has a modified R&P, any lower and he would run out of gears in the pits!

it's all a matter of acceleration... not sure Paolo's car is optimized in that area...
