Thanks! Great post...
I love this comment from the article:
"666.6 Old @$$holes that run F1 must have hair between 2 and 15mm length and must not cover his ears. "

I'm so sick of every year all these rule changes. The variety of the cars is what makes the racing exciting. Seems like they are trying to use the rules to create a spec series and get more teams to enter, however it's retarded because the fact that you have to basically start from the drawing board has to intimidate new teams, especially those where funding is limited.
They wasted all kinds of millions of dollars over two seasons with the double diffuser fiasco and now they ban it so the teams have to redesign the car again. Sickening.

Thank-you for the informative link. I agree with the others here, in the belief that F1 should be at the pinnacle of race car innovation, not a spec series where they might as well have a dedicated chassis and engine supplier in addition to the spec Pirelli tires.
When is the new 1.6L Turbo engine going to be mandated (if it is)?
Thanks - Gerry

or just choose one maker and give all teams same exact cars and make them use same mechanic so god forbid they alter anything in a different way. that is what those regulations look like now.
