Was it made driving skillz or pure dumb luck that kept him off the wall?

Like they say in skydiving, "Leave nothing to chance: pack your own chute."

Very interesting set of circumstances. It looks like the motor (or something) blew and coated the right side tires which is what appeared to get him sideways. If not for that, he probably would have flipped it as that seems to be be what happens to drag cars when they get that far out of shape.

I'd say that had more to do with luck than skill personally. Then again, I'd rather be lucky than good any day of the week.

It looks like he got into his oil and thats what happens when you dont have a diaper on the car and you blow it up.

Since you are in GA you should go check out some of the outlaw drag racing in your area, some fast cars!! I miss drag racing but then when i go and see the money people spend for 8 seconds on the track it makes me think twice about jumping back in.

Good thing he didn't hit anything because it would have been inappropriate to post the video of his misfortune. ;-0

the reason why most flip is as they are sliding down the track in the non groove and then all of a sudden you hit the groove, the tires stick and you are done.

Im not sure if anyone has had a chance to walk a really well prepped drag track but as you walk you can lose your sneakers.

At first I though she accidentially dubbed in her "personal" recordings from home. Oh and about that Aussie accent yelling bleep, bleep, bleep.....

No way the track was wet. At 24 seconds you can see fluid start spraying in front of the front tires and send it into misfortune. I think the shiny stuff is out of the groove.

You ****** good driver you! Now that's funny!

And that stickiness saved him at 0:28. The rear tires hooked up and rotated him in the right direction. ****ing lucky driver you!
