Who will win?

(Edit, it appears the poll function only allows 20 choices now. Lewis, did this change recently?)

If Red Bull can get their KERS fixed, then either Vettel or Webber will win. If Red Bull's KERS problems are to persist, I have to go with one of the two McLaren cars. The back straight in Shanghai is very long, too long to not have KERS.

If Robert Kubica was driving this w/e I'd vote for him.
But even if he was how could Vettel not be the choice- best driver in the best car (with or w/o KERS), best pit crew, best team (strategy) etc.
Whats not to like?

I'm sticking with Vettel. Newey and the boys will get KERS sorted out.

Expanding on the newly discovered flight capabilities of the Lotus-Renault chassis, Petrov will simply fly over all the others for the win!

I voted for Button.......quiet consistent gets the job done.

SV.....cant win 'em all and the kid who appears to have matured still has a ways to go
MW.....he had his chance last year, he'll do ok but hes now past his best opp.
FA......aggressive whiner, dont like 'im never did or shall
FM.....done, afraid he wont recover from his crash and is now superseeded
Hammy.......another whiner, I hope someone goes James Hunt on his ***
Schumi.....the rocker is awaiting
Petrov heard the USSR still have a space program, come fly with me

I'm taking a break from Vettel as I think that the odds on a 3rd win in a row are getting slim. McLaren has shown that their car works on long straights and Button is getting the hang of driving the new tires better than the rest. Add to the fact that he won last year and we could be seeing a repeat this weekend.

I hear you and I like JB and his chances as well, but betting against SV right now is like betting against "the house". Not that the house always wins, but . . . . you can lose yer shirt betting against it.

Not sure if Red Bull will have their KERS fixed in only one week. If it is fixed, then Vettel should be the favorite. But without it (especially if it is installed, but not working and messing up the car's ballast) I have to think McLaren will have the edge. Renault and yes Ferrari could also be serious threats. The back straight in China is long, too long to be ignoring the added 80 HP of KERS. I am guessing though that the DRS will only be allowed on the shorter front straight.

Well let's just imagine that RB might have the KERS working...in one car anyway...so SV hard to go by for the hat-trick!

Everyone seems to think that Ferrari is sandbagging. If they can step up their qualifying game, I think they are good for the win (probably with FA). Their pace during the middle part of the race is at or above that of Red Bull.

The Ferrari shows great race pace. Quali, not so much.

THese threads have become, "Which race will Vettel lose"? and picking the right one.

I know my buddy Wanna911 is going to love this because I said the same thing about Hamilton a few years ago, but I now want to see if Vettel can win without being on pole or leading after lap 2. Can Vettel win if he is shuffled to P3-5 after the 2nd lap? That's what I want to see.
