All worthy canidates but this week's douche bag of the week is the guy who came in the California Festival of Speed with his Lamborgini Murcielago. He buys a Track Tour ticket. Drives like an *** and gets tossed.


But that is not why he s the douche bag. He did this while wearing a driving suit and fireproof underwear.

He spent most of the day walkng around the pits playing dress up.

For that he is douche bag of the week.

Reminds of a 4th of July party a few years back. Some guy walks in, totally unkown to everyone (it was a small party) and begins dancing to the music like he owns the joint. He capped it off by removing his shirt to reveal a white cotton wife-beater, and he had the biggest belt buckle I've ever seen (including in the movies and TV).

Almost as good: dude shows up a few years ago at a DE, in a Lambo Gallardo. Did a couple of sessions, then the car took a dump. Literally stopped running mid session & would not re-start. It was towed in to the paddock. Plenty of fuel, batttery OK. No clue what happened.

Until about 30 minutes later when a flatbed rollback showed up & pulled the Lambo on board. Seems the guy rented it. the rental company had a GPS with a transponder on it. When it showed up o their computer driving at high rates of speed off marked roads, on a racetrack, they immobilized the ECU by remote control, since this violated the rental agreement.

It was epic.

Hahaha!!! I found that hilarious as well. He was up in the seats above the pits taking notes on a track map. I commented to my wife that he was quite a "look out" for showing up in his driver's suit with nomex undershirt and everything when he wasn't even driving in the event. I wonder if he managed to pass the mid-90's Nissan Maxima on the track during the lunch hour tour and that's what got him tossed?

Glad somebody else noticed. Definitely DB of the week.

There was a guy at a combined PCA/BMW San Diego DE last October at Chuckwalla. The guy was in a Lambo (white in fact), and was instructed by an Orange County PCA instructor.... exclusively.

This Lambo "pilota" was in nomex, driving suit, etc., but could not keep it on the island. The guy made the same mistake almost every lap and the organizers were thinking about booting him after his multiple agricultural excursions. He ended up leaving early anyway, but it sounds like this may be the same guy.

Yep, kind of a pearl white color if I recall correctly. I thought it was a Gallardo but I didn't look that carefully. In an effort to make some positive comment, he was at the very least friendly.
