Question for Corner Workers - Emergency Stop Button - Push? Or Pull?
A question for all of you corner workers out there.
I'm re-doing the battery cutoff in my car and considering the installation of a Push-Pull "Emergency Stop" button (with a 30-40mm mushroom sized metal push button) on my car. My question is, which direction makes sense when trying to shut down a car's electrical system? PUSH (i.e. slap the button down)? or PULL?
Logically, I would have thought a PUSH-style arrangement would make the most sense. However, I thought it would be useful to poll those of you who work corners for your opinions. Thanks! And please accept my sincere thanks for the work you do at driving event and races. I don't think you guys get the credit you deserve!

Pull, as kirt said. Right in the middle of a race a friend of mine I was dicing with rolled off the track and parked it. A fair sized marble had smacked his "push off" cutoff and shut him down in an inaccessible part of the track...sat and watched the rest of the race from his car...

Thanks guys. Appreciate the input. Sounds like PULL is going to win.
