Got mine last week and installed it yesterday. Works great - thanks Tony!

I got mine with the LED... and forgot to hook it up. Got the interior all back together, then noticed the LED sitting on the bench. If I get time I'll take the center console apart and mount the LED next weekend.

I didn't think to take any pictures when I was installing it but I can grab a shot or two when I get home.

It's really nothing special though, as far as stuff to look at, in my car anyways. The 944 has a bunch of switches at the front of the console (power mirror switch, sunroof switch, etc.) I had a few blank spots there so I just drilled a hole in one of the blanks and mounted the push button there. All the rest of the wires tuck under the carpet, not much to see. I ran the wires up the side of the roll bar inside some plastic wiring loom and used electrical tape to attach it to the bar.

Frankly I'm much more proud of my Cool Suit installation (Radio Shack had a lighted rocker switch that's the exact same size as the factory rockers) but that's for another thread...

Ok - photos attached.

You can see the button, the cable, and the tape job

Like I said, not too terribly exciting.

thanks Omni - appreciate it. It's not exciting although neat and 0 footprint - nicely done. Label the red button "Ejector - don't push!"

There are a few folks selling these types of wired Go Pro remotes on Ebay these days as well - helpful for non US residents.

Hahaha LOL I thought about labeling it "NOS"

I would have run the cable under the carpet completely (rather than have it just poke out from under the backside of the center console) but I used too much glue when I put the carpet in (My car originally came with tan carpet - I swapped it for black.)

Nos is WHack! But thanks, now I understand. I hope the 9ft length is long enough to get there as I don't have a vertical in my roll cage, just diagonals, so I'll have to run 'triangle' to get to the consol. Maybe will do the sub-handbrake fitting as it protects the led from accidental knockoff and even with HANS on can see the led with a little tilt of the head.

Hey Oz - thanks for that. I dropped Tony an email and being an RL'r and a flagman to boot he's my preferred supplier, plus he's got a wicked accent, makes simple, clear utube vids and he literally mailed the thing within an hour of being paid

I see the GP wireless preorder price is $190 ex deliv so at $90 with shipping its a fair deal. I'll pm you about UK/European suppliers in general.

Never worry about the battery going dead
I have a solution for starting your Go pro camera
when you get strapped in your car sitting on grid waiting to go out on Track and you can not reach your go pro camera.

The Easy start Remote is what you need. it will start your camera from the dash of your car it also has a led light to let you know its on. save your battery life and get more race footage on the sd card. no more sitting on grid with the camera running getting nothing start and stop the go pro camera when you the driver wants to. no more asking the Grid Marshal will you please cut my camera on for me. YOU ARE IN CONTROL
