I used the Escort jammer for several years. Worked fine as best I could tell. At least I never got a ticket.

I have the Blinder M10... Definitely works. Anything "passive" is useless. It jams the gun and looks as if you are not even there.

...one time headed up to Montreal for GP week a guy definitely pointed one at us in the 993. He Looked at his gun just as we saw him and had an "Oh Sh*t" moment. M10 handled it. I looked at him, he looked at me befuddled and all was well.

As nice as they are, they are ilegal in many states. You may want to investigate the law in the states you plan to travel to or through before tuning it on.

What is you new tow vehicle?

K-40 Laser diffuser. I have it mounted right under the front license plate in my 2 cars. Dont know if they still do this, but they guaranteed to pay for a ticket if caught by a laser gun. I got pulled over in CT on I-95 on way to New Bedford going 91 in 65. They paid for the ticket which was about $450 if I recall. I also have the radar detection system mounted inside the front and rear bumpers and the control switch and warning lights are all discreetly mouned inside the car.

My GT3 has a built in unit (Escort) that the PO put in it. Yes it is illegal, but so is speeding... That said the trick to a jammer is being able to disable it. Mine has a "James Bond Like" button in the ash tray that you hit once you get to an appropriate speed to let Johnny Law get your speed.. To them is looks like they are just having trouble getting your speed but eventually they get it. Therefore it is hard to say if it is being jammed. As I'm sure you know it does nothing to Jam Radar.. But you have a brief period of time to correct your speed w/ radar. I wish my DD had it. They are pricy.

One thing to also consider on a Tow Vehicle is that when you hit your brakes hard the car does a noticeable nosedive. I received a ticket once in my old Escalade because although I had a radar detector in the car and I was radar'd I slammed my brakes and the Caddy looked like it was doing an endo. Before the cop pulled me over I hid the unit and when he came to my window he said. "You shouldn't use a radar detector to tell if you are speeding or not"

I happen to have great experience with the Lidatek laser jammers. In 2006, they allowed me to drive from NYC to LA in 31 hours & 4 min, breaking the cannonball run record set in 1983 by over an hour.
I'm not up to speed on their latest products, but I'm confident they are still leaders in the space.

if cops will get you with it in MA you will face misdemeanor charge and a chance to get a criminal record. do you really need that? at least that is what i was told by a cop i knew personally so i would not do it.

A quick google search will prove that laser jammers are legal in MA........

Cops will say anything to prevent you from using one......

Thanks for all you help guys!

I have to make a final decision on which one, but I am leaning toward the K40, which I can have installed professionally by a local dealer.......

As far as which tow vehicle/DD I bought, here it is:

2012 Jeep SRT8
