Makes sense, why spend all that $ building a track without making the most out of several professional race series. Good for the race fans in TX.

Sure would be nice. ALMS race in September, PCA in October and F1 in November! Nice fall lineup.

Vir has an open weekend that time and is building curbs that alms is known to ask for. Also it's located near the surrounding events.

Bigger and better news than F1 coming to town IMO. Ok maybe not bigger, but this is definitely good news for both the track and ALMS.

It would be very successful IMHO. The Houston Grand Prix was bringing some pretty good crowds before CART fell apart.
I think this is just the begining of what and who this track is going to bring to our great state.

The circuit of the Americas has been linked with ALMS, Grand Am, IRL, WTCC, V8 Supercars, NASCAR, and DTM. I hope they ALL get a turn.

Hope they make due date for F1 race. Like other series much better though. Just read that grandstand only hold 12,000 people here. There will be lots of infield stuff to do and see I'm sure.
