Mike: My clutch blew up at the last race last year. My car should get back together with the new clutch and a few other tweaks by Thursday so I can race. It will be interesting as I've converted to a manual steering rack and as a bonus the weight difference is enough to offset the added weight from the air jacks.

Mooty,
April is a very difficult month to find time to race or anything else outside of work and family. Justin's birthday and spring break make for a very tight schedule. I am working the SCCA weekend so I'll have to be happy dropping by to say hi to the racers. There are no short term plans on doing anything to my car! It would be like opening the piggy bank. I'm saving my money for track time! The car will get retouched someday but the list so far is very expensive.

To date there are 41 cars signed up including 8 in GT3R. I think 8 cars from So Cal are heading up just for the opportunity to run 103 instead of our normal 92 db with POC. Can't wait to see if I'm faster with less restriction/muffler.....

First I've heard of it. Apparently it's with SCCA so I just sent them a note to ask about sound (nothing on their website)....
From GGR's calendar:
"Tentative: GGR will host a PCA Club Race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca as guests of the San Francisco Region of the SCCA"....

the question is what run group all the porsche guys will run with , or will the have their own group?
I cant remember what we did last time. I think they ran with us, but it might have only been the contingency of guys from the porsche NW group. that was a fun weekend.

I would love to...but after building the race car, which went way over budget (so what else is new?), money has been real tight and the job situation has been on life support. I'll certainly come down and watch. We should plan on meeting up at some point.
I am heading up to Thunderhill for April 7 and 8 with NCRC. I probably won't race until later in the year and that will be with the PRC.

Yep I was 107 at T-hill but with 90 degree elbows and Supertraps I'll be good to go. For 92 db I have to go with stock exhaust at 75 lbs. I think OEM cups can make 103....
Scott you should come out and play....
Mark with 50 cars I'm pretty sure PCA has it's own run group.....

PCA has their own run group.
I've signed up for both SCCA (PC) and PCA (GTC5) un groups to get more track time. Should be a fun weekend.. hopefully car doesn't take to long to setup on Michelins. Never ran them on the 2011.
