PCA Club Race at Laguna Seca
I glanced at the club racing schedule on pca's website and noticed Laguna Seca April 27-29. Was this announced at all? Pretty cool, even if I'm the last to know about it!

First I've heard of it. Apparently it's with SCCA so I just sent them a note to ask about sound (nothing on their website)....
From GGR's calendar:
"Tentative: GGR will host a PCA Club Race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca as guests of the San Francisco Region of the SCCA"....

I put word out to a track friend who would be in the know. Will report back.
Also, looks to be a Double Regional. Only other times I've known SFR to ***** out run groups was for vintage race weekends, where BMW club racing was invited.

Its on the PCA web site. Not on the GGR web site. Not sure if it is a done deal. If it is, not sure what the sound restrictions might be.
The Fontana race is proximal on the calendar. This could draw quite a bit of interest. Sound could be a factor.

Rental? What kind of car? Jerry Woods Enterprises may have a rental Spec 911. If Rothsport comes down from Portland, they may have a rental Spec 911.

Jerry Woods Enterprises (Rich), Campbell, California
Rothsport (Jeff), Tualatin, Oregon.
Both businesses sponsor and support the Porsche Racing Club, which is very appreciative!

I was planning to go to this race when I noticed it on SCCA's schedule a few weeks ago.. I'll be there with the cup. Was gunna try to convince the Jerry Woods guys to go, but if it's a PCA event they might be planning on going anyway...
