Next week Nationwide goes to Montreal for another road coarse race. It was a good one last year.

Racing is racing, and that was some good racing! But man they look so clumsy. On a road course it seems almost impossible to get close to the car your overtaking without contact!

Love how wide they make turn 1 and the straightening out of turn 2 up the esses. Let alone straightening out the bustop.... Can't imagine doing that in my car, but now i've gotta try it......

I am going to the ALMS at Road America this Saturday. Patrick Long will be there in his #45 GT3 RSR with Jorg Bergmeister. I hope to get the opportunity to meet him during the 11:15 AM autograph session.

I'll be working the Porscheplatz from 12:30-5:30 PM on Saturday the 18th. Come say hello!

A few years back at petite the whole lizards crew came over to the porscheplatz for lunch and sat around answered questions autographs and just hung out. Great group of guys, very approachable, don't be shy.

yep, the FL guys are great.

if you see Pat tell him I said hello. then be prepared to duck!

just kidding.

wish I could go to RA this year, love that track and it's a 4-hour race! I wish ALMS did more 4-6 hour races.

Patrick is very approachable, and a very nice guy to boot. He did an advanced instruction day a few years ago at Motorsport Ranch and he remembered meeting and talking. One of the nicest folks you will meet.

Man if more Nascar races were even remotely interesting as this one, I'd watch them...

Try out the Nationwide race this weekend in Montreal. It's usually another good one.

agreed, all of the NASCAR (Sprint and Nationwide) road races are usually pretty entertaining. as are the short tracks (Richmond, Bristol, Martinsville, etc)

it's all the aero-dependent 1.5-2.0+ mile tracks that tend to be snooze fests.
