Dunno about others but it wasn't random for me. My dyno at home was 282. Last event at MidO was around 286, this time I was 283. I ran 75# heavy just in case. Wasn't needed since I had an ignition coil failure mid race

That dyno has been very consistent. There were two cars that had an issue that I know of. The guys i know that got dyno'ed we very consistent with prior readings.

If you watch the start of the ST2 race and see somebody spinning off at 100mph that's me! I started on DOT slicks when nearly everyone else was on rains.

After restarting in the back, I made it to back up to third with the fastest lap of the race but contact with an AIX car broke my suspension on the last lap. That Sucked!

Here's my drama for the weekend. I get loose in the dirt that gets kicked up coming into Madness, but save it. The guy in the 67 car spins and knocks me off course. I kept on the driving. Pity, as the course was starting to come to me, and I think I could have made more positions in the pack.

I will post the details accurately once I have some time to get caught back up. Give me a few days.

Looks like fun Mike. I know the feeling all to well to get punted off in a turn. I was in second place at the last SARRC and was punted in the last lap. I also know all too well about crappy starts...had one at VIR a couple of years ago that was simply comical...cars were passing like I was standing still after missing a gear. Love your video...what kind of system are you running with the traqmate?

It was a blast.

I'm using a pair of Swann Freestyle HD cameras. Very similar to GoPro, but if you shop you can find them on the cheap. I got on from Woot for $129, the other from Amazon for $139. Nice little camera.

He's got a $hitload of cars to get prepped over the next couple of weeks, and I think he want's to understand what happened with the Boxster before he comments.

Mike how much recording time do those Swann cameras have? Also do they mount with the screw hole in the bottom?

They have a standard 1/4x20 screw hole in the bottom of the camera, which is very nice. They can record up to the space you have on the memory card (I have 32Gb), but every 30 mins the camera starts a new file.

I remain curious, to say the least.
