Sale or Trade 93 Firehawk 968
Sale or Trade authentic 1993 Porsche Firehawk 968
Will entertain interesting street Porsche trades; Cayenne, 996 etc.
I’ve owned since 2003 and have over $85,000 in receipts to indicate the level of detail in maintenance and enhancements since purchase. This car was built by Dave White to compete in the Firestone supported IMSA Firehawk series. The cage has the original IMSA stickers still in place. This is not a replica Firehawk.
Race ready and configured for PCA SP3 or F Stock
This car has been exquisitely maintained by Precision Motorsport Racing in Califon NJ since purchase in 2003.
All fluids changed after every race weekend.
Corner weighted and balanced at least 3 times per season to optimize dialing in of suspension. Have all the spec sheets.
Wired for FAST cool shirt and helmet blower. Complete setup is negotiable.
Outline of major work done within the last 3 years:
Complete engine rebuild by Michael Mount with the best of everything. Approximately 25 hours since the rebuild.
Guards LSD
Moton Club Sports ( 2 way adjustable )
Racer Edge camber plates
600lb front / 250lb rear spring set up
KLR strut brace
Clutch
Starter
Alternator
Power steering rack and pump
Borla exhaust
Battery
Solid suspension bushings
Schroth window net
Schroth belts
Recaro seats with adjustable driver seat mount
Updated fire system
Belts
18 inch Enkei wheels with Hoosier R6's
Within the last year:

Thx guys for the kind words. It's bitter sweet that I sell the 968 but after 10 years it's time to move out of my comfort zone. If for some reason the car doesn't sell, I'll keep it due to it being 1 of very few 968 Firehawks left and it's in perfect shape.

They started as regular street cars and were converted by professional teams to specs set by the sanctioning body, IMSA. From what I gathered, the 968's were dis-advantaged with weight and other mandates compared with other cars in the series.

I've raced against this car/driver combo and can attest to both of their cred's. One on hand I hope it doesn't sell so that we can continue racing again, if it has to go then I hope it stays in the NE. In any case, it's a great car.
Buyers should be aware of the event that is being scheduled in June at Mosport, sort of a Firehawk reunion, with drivers like Goodyear, Spenard, Fellows....this is the perfect car to show up in.
