Announcers for F1 on NBCSN

Apologies if old news but an article in today's USA Today lists Diffey, Hobbs, and Matchett....no mention of any others....also says Diffey will call IndyCar races as Bob Jenkins is retiring.

Likewise.....I know many people enjoy Will Buxton but I won't miss him if he's gone; like my neighbor's yappy, obnoxiously high-strung terrier, he annoys the hell out of me.

I like Diffey - he has filled in for Varsha when he is doing Barrett Jackson. Also like him on Rolex Grand-Am. Personally I would take Varsha over Diffey but I wont get bent out of shape over it.

Will Buxton is fine - he seems to have credibility with drivers and teams so I hope they eventually bring him on board.

Would be nice to have at least one American announcer.

Me too; he's been around the block and I always enjoyed him. He's currently writing for F1 Racing mag and it's a good read.

I like Buxton. A little ADD but will ask a real question.

Varsha is part of the reason Wifey likes F1, he did the explanation for those who did not grow up waiting for Rob Walker's Articles in Road & Track.

Hobbs is best in the business on this side of the Pond, and Matchett has the Engineering Cred.

Posey reminds me of that Uncle at Thanksgiving who after a bottle of Old Grandad drones on spouting pontifications that mean very little.

Posey is quite ill with Parkinsons I believe?

Hobbs is brilliant and pretty much predicted the outcome EXACTLY during P1. Amazing! Sharp guy.

Matchett's tech insight are often 15 years behind ('When I was at Bennetton' ..etc)

Buxton is pretty good, but like a squirrel on crack :-)
