Default LSR PCA at TWS, Dec 1-2

I'll start the thread this time. Looks like the busiest event of the year: I saw waitlists in just about every run group. This is also my reminder to bring a thicker coat, as I was FREEZING both mornings in October.

Which of you will be there? Anyone doing the Friday open session through TWS?

Not sure you'll need that heavy coat. Looks like it will be warmer than October. Lows of 60 - 62 and highs 78 - 79.

One more Austinite (and Spec Boxster) present and accounted for. Maybe COTA will inspire more folks in Austin to pick up the hobby...

I'll be there in Green-17. If you're not sure which car that is, just listen when I come down the front straight.

I used to do track days there on motorcycles, have yet to go to a PCA event though.
What is the cost to just get in & watch / walk around?

From the LSR DE page:

But even if we don't do a Spectator Day, you are welcome to visit the track during any of the DE's. When you arrive at the track, please contact the LSR member at the "GRID IN" desk (at the entrance to where the cars line up to go on the track). He or she will introduce you to one of our DE "Mentors", who will be happy to show you around and answer your questions. And you are welcome to do a parade lap, which will occur when the track goes cold for lunch.

Come on up. We're a friendly bunch. Arrive well before Noon so that you have time to get to the right people and sign the releases, but then you can drive the track on the parade laps at lunch. Well worth the drive. Be forewarned; it's all a bit of a slippery slope.

And just forget trying to talk to anyone when that happens!

I'll be there. Looking forward to it!

And a beautiful music note that it is, of course I'm a little biased, and proud of the hp/tq increases that it brought.
