I just started using it a few months ago for our last couple of auto cross events. I like it. I have added an external lens to the phone to get a wider view and the external gps would improve the detail but I have been very happy with it so far. For $20 it is difficult to go wrong. I am still learning all you can do with it. I have posted some videos to YouTube, search for NER PCA autocross.

It works okay. You need an external GPS because a Touch doesn't have a GPS.
The Touch I have does not have image stabilization like my 4S. I'm not sure that isn't better, but I use by 4S simply because it has more memory.
