I like Buxton, he's a good, well informed, portion of a good team.

Frankly, trading Diffey for Varsha was a good idea. Diffey is a bit more animated, and that helps for color commentary.

Personally, I would have liked to see Peter Windsor return in place of Buxton.

I like the personnel. Someone at NBC realized they couldn't go with generic sports announcers. Lets hope the rest of the production is up to snuff.

Hopefully Varsha will be back when his FOX contract expires, nothing against Leigh but I prefer Bob. I think they ought to bring in Townsend Bell when they can, he substituted for Hobbs a few times and I thought he provided a good understanding of the modern technology, teams, and processes.

Personally, I think Diffey is a bit over the top. He squirts out of his chair if the cars get within 3 feet of each other. He makes it tough to take a nap during the race.

I really like the squirrel on crack. He cracks me up and, at times, is fearless in asking questions. NBC will have a learning curve with educating the public from the Champ car world. It should be interesting.

I agree with Cory and others, I'd like to see Varsha in there, he's a real pro.
Buxton is great, super enthusiastic, Matchet doesn't miss a single detail, and Hobby completes the program.
We'll be fine.
