I'm a big Audi and McNish fan. When he had the massive crash in 2011 at Le Mans I was gutted. But when he passed the Toyota at the same spot in the opening lap at Le Mans in 2012 a complete chill went down my spine. It was like McNish gave a big middle finger to any fears he might have had from the previous year.
The fact that he did not finish in 2012 didn't matter to me. This pass showed *****.

Hakkinen passing Schumi at Spa by "splitting" Zonta IMO is be the best pass in history of motorsport. At least during the time I've watched racing.

So much to learn from that video about defensive driving. The Corvette was so much faster than the Porsche, I would have probably given up the fight in the first minute if I was driving the Porsche.
What was the official verdict on the final crash? Did Bergmeister's victory stick?
