Default New boxster race car projet almost finished

Thought i posted this here since its for race car oriented

my dad and I sold our non-stock Cayman S and 996 gt3.
Both cars were used only on track and we were tired of the consequences we had with them.
(insurance cost, tired of putting 100k on track, tires cost, can't drive on the street, etc....)

so, we decived to buy boxster S, mine is a 2004 with +-30000mm
we have a backup boxster s 2000 for friends and family and we're looking for another boxster for my dad.
We also bought a Cayenne and a c4s so we could keep on enjoying dailydriving the porsche

I wanted to build it to be able to race it in 2014 and continue doing DE like i used to do( 13weekends last year)

Ive been working on all our porsche for years, im not a mechanic but i can do lot of stuff. It was also my first experience to work with body parts and repairing a damaged car.

see the results

Great work, Seb! That's going to be a really cool car with that front end. Maybe a wing on the back?

thanks,

im getting back the car from the cage builder tomorrow,

i will setup a few things and install some parts over the weekend. Then, corner balance and alignment

a wing would looks nice and help the car.

my concern is that, i think i can't install one if im in PCA F class...

Looks good. I didn't see a knee brace on the roll cage. Are you having one installed and they just hadn't got there? WHile you have the dash out it would be easy to have one tucked up inside of it.

no need for a wing, but you could use the stock aero package and remain in F class stock otherwise I believe you get bumped up to G.
