That sight was awesome. Too bad no one got an image of it so we could still laugh at it! I wonder what happened that made the Media Barons do that sight though

I still remember the questionnaire and with every selection it would play an engine revving.

I don't know what set the PR folks off, but it wouldn't even matter because that's really, really unprofessional.

Media Baron currently does PR for Magnus Racing. In my opinion they are a bit off the wall and irreverent, but the draw attention to the team, which is somewhat the point of a PR firm.

I will concede that the team owner and drivers need to have an interesting sense of humor to mesh with Media Baron, but John Potter and Andy Lally do. Buckler clearly didnt

here's some of the MR/MB content:

hard to believe it was a personality clash. while I have no idea whatsoever what underlies their falling out, almost has that feel of either a) someone owed someone big monies; b) someone slept with someone's wife, or b) you didn't pick my daughter on your youth soccer travel team.
something aint right there. media baron's isn't any fly by night shop and for them to build a site parodying TRG, has to be some real bad blood, not just a different in personalities and what constitutes funny.

IIRC Andy Lally left TRG under odd circumstances. He posted something about someone not honoring commitments or something cryptic like that.

I like the humor that Media Barons brings to Magnus and I really enjoyed their broadcasts during the 24 when they were with TRG. That was a fun way to match the race during the black out period.

But regardless of needing a specific sense of humor, to parody an existing client is just a huge error in judgement.

Maybe TRG wasn't a client anymore and just didn't know it?
