Yes. Here is yours truly, with the distinct honor of leading him around under FCY for about 15 minutes.

why is he retiring?
Sly and I had fun hanging with him and the other Audi drivers after the PCA48 last year as they were getting ready for a test the next day at Sebring.

Dave you are one of the few people that can say they stayed in front of McNish for 15min...

He's a great guy and also one of my favorite drovers.

Wow, I was just today reading a big article on him in the latest MotorSport--every now and then they have a "guest editor" and this month it's him.

He was actually asked when he would retire and part of his reply was "I won't be doing this in five years".....he mentioned the retirement of Dindo Capello and the forced retirement of Dario as examples of knowing when to go, as both had enjoyed great success. Sounds like Allan as well.....

Could TK be next?

Going out at the top of his game, always a hard call. Maybe after the off in Le Mans in 2011, coming back in 2012, and then again in 2013 and winning both Le Mans and Championship in 2013. Maybe that combo was enough.

I am sure we will be seeing more of him and the sport can use ambassadors like him. And then there was Simonsen in 2013 at Le Mans too, a wake up call to many.
