I feel bad that Joe, while running in the top-5 in race 2, got DRILLED in the back at the entry of the Bus Stop by a low-time guy that just had a brain-fart and used Joe to slow down...

He came up and apologized but Joe's stuck with a big bill, through no fault of his own.

Give the camera car a break, those other cars were keeping him from driving "Flat Out".

It sounds like he got hit around the 0:30 mark. Frankly, I'm surprised it took until 5:19 for the "big one" to happen.

Anybody else think that looked like a few guys playing a video game in a bar after having a few?

That was entertaining and to a certain extend sad. Lack of wing allows them to really fly.

I see these guys every year when i work at the Montreal GP and they're fairly civilized on the first day then all hell breaks loose on day two and it's carnage ... lol
Maybe the Saturday night festivities lead to Sunday morning brain farts

Cheers

Absolutely spot on. I guess the coaches get paid either way, but it's sad they are not heeded more...

Where did these guys get their racing license from? How did they get a racing license is a better question I suppose…..Looks like the opening scene from The Banana Splits Show.

That was scary just to watch. I attended one of these races at NOLA last fall, and the racing looked pretty clean and gentlemanly during the brief time I was there, although some of the participants were in over their heads.

The one race I watched on television last year (may have been Daytona) looked like more like a demolition derby than a race. I couldn’t believe how cavalier they were about smashing such expensive machinery. By the end of the race it seemed that half the field had been totaled or banged up to some degree.
