Hard to say what actually caused the big pile-up in the esses in the GT race this afternoon. Visibility was terrible due to rain and spray, and there was a lot of water at the bottom of the esses, as usual. Saw some in car video from one car on the team I am working with this weekend...he saw the wrecked cars, tried to avoid them (and succeeded), and in doing so did 2 complete 360 spins, with great super-close views of the stopped (damaged) cars as he spun, missing them by mere feet. And he came to a stop, pointed the right way, unscathed, in the grass! Race was red-flagged at that point.

Other than that, it has been a pretty clean weekend so far, despite often-nasty conditions.

Wreckfest? Hardly.

Wild. Before HD, 10a/10b and for the last part, apparently the invention of the yellow, white, red and black flags.

That's the first thing that came to my mind because I remembered it from your picture. Unfortunately, I think it is the same car if I'm reading RaceMonitor correctly.

Visibility was poor and I think a few of us including me missed the yellow at the top of the hill. A car was off already at the bottom of the esses and the red cup ahead of me spun and I am told hit the car already off. I was on steady throttle and hit puddle and took off with out warning. Spun and hit the wall. Two other cars followed. Could have been worse but a tire-wall could have saved a lot of damage. I will post a video later
