Got to watch those guys up close from several of the corner stations while we were out delivering food and water to the workers. It was a treat to seem them wheel those cars around.

I heard that John's GR3R is one of 5 built in 2014. Doesn't matter, the car is stunning. F1 drivers would kill for that wing!

What an awesome weekend. Words really can't describe that track/facility...you really just have to experience it for yourself. Also, after the stories I heard from the 2013 race, I was pleasantly surprised at how laid-back everything was this year (unless you got caught wearing shorts in the hot pits... ). Great weather, cool cars, stunning facility...can't ask for much more. Can't wait for next year.

It was my first event to ever race a Cup car (co-drove #04 GTA1 on Sunday)...man those things are addicting Here's some assorted pics:

It was a good race this year. Weather was good, and saw some good driving out there. Very nice to see the low contact % as well, most big club races I see too many bent cars.
Here is my best lap of the weekend.

That was a very nice lap. Bryan. You listened well! Had you not been slightly early in 11, you would have been in the 27's !

LOL, NO it really sucks for the car... Very hard on 2nd and 3rd gear and the brakes. I am not a big fan of the track layout. I would put COTA about 7 or 8 on my list of tracks I have driven... Maybe if I was a F1 driver and my crew rebuilt my car every session i would like it a little better...

The short track is a BLAST, but very very busy in faster cars.
