Hamilton - stellar drive. Great, great race. Mark my words...if Hamilton can keep his head and drive like that for the remainder of the season - he will win the WDC.

Yep -- merc to hammy - Nico is slower than you so let him through!!! Hammy should have just said "get stuffed"!!

The Ferrari is actually a 4th rate car as they are down to MB, RBR, and Williams. Alonso is a miracle worker. How many laps did he do on the soft tires? 35-40? Unthinkable

Remember Hammy was talking to his Engineer Peter Bonnington. The guy in the middle. Hammy acknowledged the request and did what he had to. Nico needs to be tougher, or drive faster.

Great drive by each guy on the podium today. Also good drove for Kimi who didn't get out of Q1 (no fault of his own) and got the F kart up to 6th today

Most exciting race in recent memory. When Ricciardo got the lead after the first safety car and maintained the gap I had a feeling that he could win the race. Strong performance from Alonso, a master at keeping the pace up while preserving the tires. Also a good, non-emotional performance by Hamilton who just drove the car and shut out all of the distractions.

Williams struggled with race pace, and got caught out on strategy, but I think that this was not their kind of track. SPA will be a different story for them and if they get the car on form, Bottas could very possibly beat the Mercedes straight up for his first win.

For ugly looking cars with ugly sounding motors (though not when you hear them live as my kids told me) it is shaping up to be anything but an ugly season, IMHO.

You could be right Chad, then again he might not get saved by strong droving alone...........Hammy might run out of engines.

Perhaps Williams were on a wet set up. Spa will be dominated by Mercedes power regardless of dry or wet conditions -- Can't see Ferrari or Red Bull staying with those cars on long runs.

Best race of the season so far!
Ricardo was DA MAN today!
Alonso was walking on water... Again.
It makes you wonder if last two races had Hammy started other than from last row or pit lane, I think he would be leading the WDC pts!!!

Great race from Ricardo and Alonso, but my vote goes to Hamilton. The last two races (pit lane and 20th) to podium - get real. Regarding the request to let the slower Nico thru keeps the conspiracy theory alive.

This video proves that Rosberg does not have it. Just a whiny little child. Looks like he was crying his eyes out...

Between the two - there appears to be a crack forming in the armor of Rosberg. These two interviews say a lot. One thing stands out - Hamilton talks about punching through the challenges and coming out on top. Plain and simple - that will raise a confidence level immensely.

Me neither. The Mercedes MGU should pull many car-lengths up from Stavelot to the chicane. RB and Ferrari will have to fight to be in the top 5 or 6 as Merc, Williams, McLaren and Force India should all do well here.

Great race.

Nico's team messed up when they didn't pit on the first time around with the safety car. I may be mistaken in that the first 4 cars could not have entered the pit lane, but I am not sure... The safety car, and the fact the first 4 cars didn't pit when they should have, really provided opportunity to those who made the right call to capitalize on the mistakes of other teams.

Interesting battle between Hamilton and Nico on and off the track. I am going to try and watch the race again before I comment further...

Nico was well past the pit entrance when the Safety Car light came out. The other 3 had a slim chance to make it, but they were running nose to tail at full speed headed past the entrance when the light came on, so it would have been a pretty hairy move from any of them.
