Must have been an experience! What was it like? That power/price tag would terrify me.

You are a lucky man.
I saw one of the Exotic Car Rental places in Houston is renting a P1 now. It's like $15K a day.

Is that one of K.V. cars? I know he has a number of exotics.

The car is very impressive from fit an finish to all performance aspects. I was really impressed with its ability to perform all day long in the heat with no issue. There is very little body roll and the car is quite stiff in Track mode which is nice. Acceleration is on par with a Veyron and the ability to produce 1.49 lateral G was also most impressive on street tires. This is an incredible car if you have the resources to put one in your garage. I am not really in the mode of saying a 991 GT3 or coming RS is only a few seconds back so why not get it for far less investment. More of a respect and appreciation for the engineering you get at this level of car, truly impressive. I am looking forward to doing the same in 918 as I think they will both be very close in all aspects...although the P1 does look more menacing than the Porsche for sure. Have to say I like both of them very much. This is not K.V.'s car...just another nice guy from Texas.
