Kai,

I missed you at the event this weekend, where was your pit? I was suppose to say hello for a mutual friend from the Portland area.

Another great Oktoberfast. Love the track, love the people. Love, love, loved the weather.

It was not the best of weekends for me, nevertheless it was a bunch of fun, and I drove the car back on the trailer which is also great.

I think I am now a member of the Btchh club, although I would rather not be.

Congrats to Buckley, Niels and Bill Miller for dominating E stock. Sorry I couldn't be on your coat tails at least.

Kai we missed you, but your curry even more. Next time at least send the curry, even if you can't make it.

Dizzy,

Cars fine. I raced it Sunday with no issues. I was down on power that started Saturday morning and got gradually worse. I was hoping the jolt may have fixed the problem but it was not to be.

The shunt busted the fiberglass rear bumper and put a small dent in the quarter panel. The car has needed paint for a while. Now I know what my winter project is😃.

Hopefully I don't have to add a motor build.

Yup a big thank you to Jon and Joy Jones who were seemingly everywhere over the weekend making sure it went right for us racers. I literally saw Jon doing the work of 10 volunteers - the opening welcome talk, registration, pit and grid, collecting dinner tickets, and lastly as I pulled my trailer across turn 10 to leave - he was taking the sponsor banners down!!! Cimarron Region - please volunteer next time in bigger numbers - not that anything went wanting - because these two work so (too) hard!!

And Hallett - The track that exposes every weakness in my racecraft - the new paving was great - even the couple bumps in the surface kept everyone on their toes. Connie and the crew always surpass expectations. And don't we all love being called "hon" by the cafe staff when we drag ourselves in for breakfast, having been awakened by the Chicken Song - to which I am addicted after coming here year after year!!! Thanks again.
