Default Looking to go to VIR - recommendations?

A group of us in Charleston, SC would like to plan a trip to VIR this spring. All of us run solo, but a few of us, including me, will want an instructor to learn the line at VIR.

I'd like to go with a PCA chapter, but wondering what your thoughts are on the best event to go to.

Thanks!
Don

No shortage of good groups and good dates holding events at VIR! Good luck!

PCA Zone 2 has a three day event March 13-15. Always a great time.

Normally, I would have said First Settlers (FSR-PCA) in the 2nd half of May. Great time of year as the cold days/mornings are no longer a concern and the pollen is waning and they are a great group. But, some how they lost that date this year and will be running in mid-July instead, which will be way too hot. I think your looking at Zone-2 in March (bring a coat for the AM) or Tarheel BMW in late April.

+1 Best event I've attended. Will fill up as soon as it opens, which is on the 13th of this month I believe.

Carolina region in November. It's the last event of the year and historically there is a sponsored party. They run an excellent event.

I just checked clubregistration.net and there are no PCA events currently listed for VIR. I also checked the VIR webpage. I typically drive VIR with Chin and Carolinas PCA and would like to find some other chapters to drive with throughout the season. Getting them on my schedule early is a big advantage.

Where does one search future and upcoming PCA events prior to the events opening for registration?
