In fact, Bruce/Caitlyn was towing his/her son's desert car (on a Featherlight) when he/she rear-ended and killed the woman on the Pacific Coast Highway in February.
I went looking to see if our little SCCA support race field fillers crossed paths with him (and it was "him" ~35 years ago), but didn't see anything. What I did find was a result from the first pro race I ever attended, IMSA Sears Point 1980 where I went to see 935s in action. Bruce ran in GTO, and I'd love to see how the promoter advertised that the Gold Medal Decathlete would be in the field.
Bruce raced a 944s2 in 1991 for Mark Sandridge on occasion in the Firehawk series. I own that car and had been thinking of sending him a pic to autograph. Guess I missed that opp.
