Kimi on the front row ............should be an interesting race strategy from the Red team as to when Seb and Kimi pit to keep them positioned ahead of Rossberg and one another.
Gotta wonder is Williams can challenge Rossberg, come on Bottas!

bad starts (had horrible flash back to Ronnie Petersen ), followed by come from back of the pack with good dices Kimi had an exciting race.
Hammy was predictable, Rossberg had his woes and Williams steady eddy to get good points. Seb did the best he could but when Hammy got the urgent hurry up at the end Merc increased an already 20 sec lead by another 5 secs...........no contest.

I don't think they had an actual violation.
The rule states that when the tire is in the blanket at the temperature stipulated, the tire must be at least a certain PSI.
The tire warmers had been off the Mercs for a while at the time they measured.

Was it just me, or did the Italians seem to leave Rosberg's smoldering car up in the air for a long time?

Ferrari suspects Raikkonen to blame for poor start:

Typical Ferrari behavior. It's the driver's fault.
Well, don't look now, but Kimi came back from dead last to finish 5th (was even 3rd at one point). Your boy Vettel? He gained one position. The one lost by Kimi. Just sayin'...

Although Ferrari was still awaiting the results of an official investigation into what happened, Arrivabene reckons that the problem may have been caused by Raikkonen not handling his clutch paddles properly.
"If it is a technical issue we will let you know," he explained. "Looking at the moment on the images on television, it looks like he was struggling a bit, or messing a bit, with a finger to follow the procedure. But, doing an accusation before having the data is wrong."

Burning Brakes
Outside of the excitement caused by Kimi's failed launch and Lewis' drama at the end, it was a complete snooze-fest. Oh, and I wonder how low Honda must feel now? They only needed to make up 2.5 sec on Mercedes (which is hugh), but suddenly it's now 5 seconds.
