Kimi gets 30 secs added for punting Bottas off the track racing for 3rd on the final lap..........Mercedes are handed the constructors championship.....well, thats one out the way.

If Hammy wins in Austin then?

Why, is there a golf course or a fundraiser at COTA?

THIS. Putin only went so he could look tall next to the F1 drivers.

Got up, got my coffee, sat down to watch the race. Wife came in later and sat down with iPad in hand to check emails and such, with a couple laps left and heard Diffey excited about the racing between Perez/Bottas/Kimi. She looked up and said "There's actual racing going on? Since when is there real racing in Formula 1?"

Good to see an F1 pilot race like the rest of us on occasion, red misted, hair on fire and going in like it or not. I will say that Botta's turned in for a veerry urrrly apex. Looked to me like Kimi thought he'd have more space to late brake, then the door-was-slammed-shut.

Maybe Nascar should take over F1. After all, their 10,000 rpm motors sound much better than F1s, they have no problems handicapping a MFG that found too much speed and threatened to ruin the show, and they probably could figure out how to allow the damn things to pass each other.

BTW IMHO Bottas being able to crank his motor up to qualifying power for the last 2 laps to run down Perez was disgusting. This motor situation is pure bull-sh*t

Yeup!! It's the reason why we don't see racing... I vote for one motor per weekend, staged development credits over the year, and a set fuel amount per race that allows for actual racing. Gearboxes can last 2-3 weekends, that's fine...
