They sure are proud of COTA. You could rent out Rd Atl, Road America AND VIR for the cost of one weekend at COTA. I'd heard it was expensive but I had no idea it was that pricey.

Anybody thought of renting out an (unused) airport runway for high speed runs?
I've heard of a So Cal outfit that uses a runway to offer drives in Ferraris and Lambos to get to 200 MPH for $5,000.

You also need to add about 40% on top of these for insurance, flag stations, safety crew, ambulance, tow, etc.

Let's face it. ANY team that can swing (themselves or with a few others) COTA's track rent is doing just fine...
