Good win but I think with the might of Ford and 4 cars from Chip-Ginassi racing its almost the reverse story from 50 years ago. Ferrari was the huge underdog. Oh, and the FIA made sure with the "balance of power"....
btw, its Toyota not Nissan that lost power with 1 lap to go...

My god. I did not get to watch any of the race. FS1 ran golf - again. I do not get FS2. What a joke. I give up. Very few IMSA or Conti races being televised, no V8 SC, DTM, etc. Americans just don't support auto racing. I guess, unlike football, it is not violent enough to hold their attention. Disgusting!
Congrats to Porsche for their P1 win and Ford, though I think the deck was stacked in their favor. Seems all series are bending, contorting the rules to help the manufacturers look good so they spend the money to race with them. It reminds me of wrestling.

Drifting
Unbelievable finish.
Seems like they should have counted the final Toyota lap as the cool down, and kept them p2. Doesn't seem right for audi to collect 3rd place and the car with 12 more laps to get nothing, big impact on the season points.
What will happen with the Ferrari in gte pro? Penalty for malfunctioning leader lights? My app still shows them in second. Hope they keep it.
Agree with the thoughts on Ford GT win. They were handed so many advantages, it doesn't really seem like a very special win. Hope they stick around after 2017. I'd rather see the manufacturers that really support sports car racing be rewarded.
What a race though. I paid for the WEC app and it was not perfect but very good and worth the $$ to me.
