Coochas, when I asked the girls above how long I would last with them, the girl on the right gave me the answer. I assume she was at least talking in minutes.

Just like in rodeo, if you last 8 seconds you're a winner

This will only take a second, you won't feel a thing.

Wonder if they will continue to sponsor the series going forward.

So, what you're saying is 60 seconds divided by 4 girls is 15 seconds each? Yes, that's much better than bull riding!!

I'm taking McNeil's response at face value. What is best for the team has nothing to do with what is best for his company. His company sponsors the series. It's his team, even if it carries his company's logos.

I personally think IMSA will yield and make concessions and we will see a Weathertech Porsche at Petit.

Can't decide which part of the thread to comment on, the offtopic toe settings or the topic so I'll cover both.

I think each one has a different toe setting, some toe out which will be squirmy and some toe in which will have better stability. Either way it should be a fun ride!

As for the topic, it is probably a wise choice as now Weathertech gets exposure as a series sponsor and also gets exposure with their car in another series. They are maximizing the target audience, smart move. Plus they hope to be competitive in the other series.

I'm sure contracts are in place.

David will have to decide whether it's worth paying IMSA's rate for advertising, I guess...

I was refering to the Leh Keen situation.
Based on this news, I can now understand why Leh was let go, because before it just didnt make sense why they would drop talent from the team.

ah, gotcha. misunderstood.

now the Park Place GTD Porsche has withdrawn from VIR over BoP.

Park Place finished 2nd at Road America...AJR has won a race this year (with the Heart of Racing guys)...gotta say I'm not impressed with Porsche this week.

It's not Porsche withdrawing the cars -- it's the people writing the checks for them to be out there in the first place.

then why all of a sudden? Porsche wasn't off in the weeds, and there wasn't a huge BoP penalty for VIR.
