Yeah I don't do that. I like what I like. $ doesn't have a bearing on that. Just like with cars. Give me a 911 any day over a Lambo. Not my thing.
I buy them to commemorate a milestone and they will go to my kids and nieces and nephews. I have a bunch of them so over time I'll get a few watches.

Mine wasn't referring to anyone in particular either. Just made to highlight the biases we have based on our individual backgrounds. I used to think all P-Car owners were ******. Now I just think some of them are I'm sure the same goes for watch owners or any other type of collector. I just find it funny when someone from one "exclusive" group berates the choices made by someone else from another "exclusive" group. Seems hypocritical to me, but happens every day.

Yup. Live and let live. Trying to judge choices of others when applying your own sense of logic and reason doesn't work.

Yup but in all fairness, this is a car forum so don't be surprised when others see people paying a boat load of money for a "glorified spoon collection" is looked at as idiotic.

People spend $ on big houses, big boats, big cars, big *****, watches, jewellery, vacations, kitchens, collectibles etc. It keeps the economy moving. All of it is idiotic to someone.

Car and boats are typically a lot more fun than looking at the $ in a bank statement imho

Lol. Well said. Some are nice to own yourself and they don’t need to be expensive or new to be spectacular - and some are great to have friends with them. Won’t say which. Lol.

Does anyone have a contact that can get a Tudor Black Bay 58 for MSRP? I missed out on one and regretted not picking it up. Most dealers arnt even taking names on lists anymore.

I take it you've tried La Difference?

It's crazy how in demand Tudors are now.
