I added an 114060 (never was really into Rolex) however I quickly understood why its considered one of the best daily's. The more expensive watches dont get much wrist time anymore...

FOR SALE
Not a Rolex, but a very unique watch anyway.
Chronoswiss Opus double skeleton in stainless steel.
Asking $4000 (Priced for a quick sale. Watch Finder's opinion is that its worth around $6000 at the moment since no one makes a double skeleton anymore.)

If anyone is looking for a SS used sport model, my 116610 ceramic date sub will be up for grabs. I’m the original owner and had it 6 years now. Time to move on to find something different.

What are you asking for it? My son is looking for his first Rolex...

Too bad you didn’t service it before December...the cost just went up $300!

Looks like service/repair cost for Rolex has gone up $250 across the board, from $700 to $950. All things considered, the cost is still very competitive when compared to other marques.

Just had my Sub date done in November before the increase...$661 inc tax. Came back as new!

Curious; for that service price, does that include polishing the watch and band? and can the service require more $ if needs more repair?
We have Cartier and they have flat pricing for service including polishing and price does not go up if more repairs are required. One of the things I like about Cartier.

Yes Dan, polishing is included as well as other std items if needed like the crystal etc. There can be other charges, but these relate more to damage rather than normal wear. They take the watch apart and inspect it before quoting the service charges.

Incorrect. I had a very small chip on my crystal and that was a few hundred dollars extra. Polishing/oiling are included. Came back looking new for a grand. Worth it in a 45K watch imho. They recommend every 5 years.

My service quote clearly states that the crystal is included if it is needed to be replaced. To be honest, I was quite surprised by that.
