All kinds. Then they get upset when they try to return a plate without a sticker on it. Idiots.

3 years managing a service Ontario made me scared for the human race. LOL

The plate stickers expired on three of my four plated cars back in August. I haven't renewed any of them. Current Ontario regulations state that their validity is extended and that they will continue to remain valid and legal past the expiry until further notice. Legally that's about as cut and dried as things get regardless of what the local constabulary might suggest.

There is a big thread about this on Redflagdeals - cops in durham, peel and York region have been pulling people over and handing out tickets all year. Usually as an add on to other infractions. It’s total bs as it goes against what the Gov website states, but who doesn’t have access to internet these days? Sure you can take the bogus plate sticker ticket to court if you get one, but who’s got time and $$ for such a bs situation?

I did mine a few weeks ago before my birthday and got my sticker in only 3 days. Took all of ten minutes online.

I never received the mailed notices for any of them, but I do see on the Service Ontario site that you can indeed renew a plate sticker. It is probably the wisest option.
