^^^ my buddy has one of those, and it's a blast. With those prius tires, you can slide the thing at 30km/h on dry pavement. It's brilliant.

At my first track day at Mosport in my 135-hp 911, my instructor told me "it's more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow". That's very true, and has stuck with me ever since.

That old saw is true but it doesn't include the fun of driving a fast car fast.

No mention of car, SUV or van make/model so I'll guess it wasn't a sports car

I leave spirited driving for the track. I am thinking it might be more fun to have something really old with skinny tires and a handful to drive at slower speeds then it would to even have a modern sports car even though mine are now 20 years old.I took out my 996 C4S today for a drive and what a waste it was driving such a capable car even going 20 over the limit.
FYI I was also passed during my drive by a pissed off mini-van/suv for only doing 20 over.
This is why I love my two 981 spyders and CRX si so much. As I get older, it's way more fun to drive a slow, but engaging car.

Yup... saw that specific car being mentoned on FerrariChat. You can tell by the HRE wheels... it's extremely unlikely that another local car had an identical set.

I found that too. I suspect the family have requested zero info be released under privacy legislation and the police have to compile OR they were under 18 and 'borrowed' the family Ferrari. The ridiculous speed - the early morning time frame... Grab the keys before dad is awake for a quick spin?

The initial report said two adults. I suspect the news outlets would have latched on the "youth" aspect if the occupants were young.
If the investigation is still ongoing and/or next of kin have not been notified, the names of the deceased are not published.
