That’s right where I used to live. Long straight leading to that corner, but... it’s not a sharp corner. Must’ve been doing 200+. Anyways, glad they didn’t kill any bystanders. RIPAlso, looks more like a Alfa 4C than a Ferrari.

I'd agree based on the image of the wheels on TV news.

Edit: Closer look showed it's similar but not Alfa 4C wheels.

Terrible crash. At 7:15am those tires and road would have been pretty cold.

Those wheels look like Lambo Aesir wheels. Huracan?

yeah, I’d like someone proposing the new law how reducing the overage from 50-40 makes this crash less likely. This person was doing over 200 in a 60.

all of the examples that people think of for dangerous driving do not happen between 40-50 above the limit, and people that do it aren’t thinking of the severity of the punishment.

also, on the other side of that brick wall you see in the pics, is a playground...

As politicians say, never let a good tragedy goes to waste...

Mississauga rd has always had this issue of folks taking "spirited drives"

I am offended by the article's conclusion. The horse isn't 'dancing'. It's prancing.

Just a little levity in what is otherwise a very sad, if self-caused, catastrophe.

Its pretty pointless having our cars and driving on the streets. My thing is 20 over I don't really do anything above that for any amount of time. 20 over in some places can be fun where the speed limits are still set at 80 and there is no way you can do 80 in them That means for my 996's, 2nd gear and 3rd gear as over drive
I leave spirited driving for the track. I am thinking it might be more fun to have something really old with skinny tires and a handful to drive at slower speeds then it would to even have a modern sports car even though mine are now 20 years old.I took out my 996 C4S today for a drive and what a waste it was driving such a capable car even going 20 over the limit.
FYI I was also passed during my drive by a pissed off mini-van/suv for only doing 20 over.

Yes, the most fun car i've owned so far has been my slowest car - Subaru BRZ in manual. Slow car fast definitely more fun on the street. Was seriously thinking of getting the new one.
