This one still takes the cake IMHO

Ferrari F40 fights Vancouver pole, pole wins | CTV News

“The cars are extremely capable. If driven properly you should never crash on the road by yourself,” Edmonds said. “They’re very powerful, very quick, but handled with care they’re completely safe – my mom could drive a Ferrari.” 😂

And then he sues ICBC

Surgeon demands ICBC pay out nearly $1M for wrecked Ferrari | CTV News

Heran said in his latest notice of civil claim against the agency that it was “unsettling and embarrassing” for him to have the Ferrari absent from his vehicle collection, “which he makes available for public display and appreciation.”

I'd be pretty 'unsettled and embarrassed' too balling one of these up.

Stick to surgeoning I guess.

No. That record is still held by the kid that crashed his new 911 into a building less than a km from PCO where he just took delivery.

Actually that 718 at Pfaff does set the rather dubious record... according to Google Maps that tree is 230m from Pfaff.

We'll have to set different category then. Sort of like GTD and GTLM class. One class for test drives gone wrong and one for new owners gone wrong.

Ah yes, good catch. Was it confirmed the 718 at Pfaff was a test drive? If so that must have been a very uncomfortable conversation after walking back to the dealership...
