actually it just got a whole lot cheaper. The only reason i put premium in was because it was ethanol free.. I can go back to regular 87 now.
My classic does not require premium at all.

Its spring, and I did a fillup of a completely empty tank with V91. A sample showed 8% ethanol. Shell is not doing us any favours.

I wonder if @RDMcG got anything back from shell

Has anyone found a source for ethanol free premium in the GTA?

Nope, V-Power now includes ethanol... noticed the sticker on the two Shell stations I use has been updated and the V-Power = no ethanol sticker removed.

Then they have come a long way from the 1.25% I measured back in 2021 to the 8% reacp911 measured.

Porsche states that modern cars will run fine on E10. You can see the paper they released in this video:

Of course they will run fine, it adds octane to the fuel and cuts back on the actual gasoline they need to make up a liter. All manufacturers have been telling us that for decades. That does not mean it is good.

And those PCA Tech sessions, I've watched a few on topics I am very familiar with. I find them amusing but nothing more.

Unfortunately, they also give a discount of 3c a litre with CAA plus air miles/ A few years ago, they were also determined to supply the "cleanest" fuel. That doesn't mean I'm not pissed off though. I will also now buy 93/94 octane for my cars that require premium

Which brand, Shell or Ultramar? Because only Shell is listed in Canada as a Top Tier gas. The others are no-name brands probably getting it from Shell.

https://www.toptiergas.com/gasoline-brands/

Personally I do not care. I am not on the track 24-7 that requires the highest octane but I will use name brand fuels with at least the minimum octane rating even though we have knock sensors.
