FWIW...have you driven a car with the rear axle steering. I've only driven a 2017 and I have to say...I really didn't like it. Felt kinda weird and inconsistent. I realize this may have improved slightly but I thought I'd flag it. I just ordered a C4S and skipped it (happy with the way the car I test drove performed without it). Also, just seems like added complexity / failure / maintenance point?

That is a lot for a "T" by the time you add in lux and HST taxes. Whatever that would be, that is nuts! I got lucky and my slightly used GTS (not really used at 157 km) came with everything I wanted. Better than winning a lottery.

And to reduce a turning circle by 0.5m or 20 inches. Hell, I'm never in town or in parking lots and I do not need the added complexity. Same with axle lift, etc.

Yep...I was simply quoting the link that you provided - $183K.

Saving taxes as I'm doing a sell through on my NSX so its a wash really. I see it as a lateral move...sold the NSX for $156,995...pretty damn good on trade. LOL

Had a 19 Carrera T with RAS and loved it. I can't get nor can really afford a GT3 so this is my baby GT3 and will be a fun daily.

I also wanted Ruby Star Neo and thought its a great price point in order to get into one of the PTS colors and last non-hybrid 911s and therefore I'm pretty happy having ordered it. Also received a nice discount which also helps...

Yup and really enjoyed it on my 19 Carrera T. Its like the NSX with its front wheel torque vectoring where it pushes and pulls the wheels and I find it awesome. Actually made myself car sick this past summer at Tail of the Dragon.

Sold my T and ventured into a few C8's and the NC1 NSX but really miss the handling and a manual 911. Ergonomics in the 911 are probably the best of any sportscar so I figured order what I want as it will likely be one of the last times I can order a non-Hybrid 911.

My T arrives tomorrow or Thursday and I collect it next week. Yay.

I usually do a "convenience deal" even when I sell privately which is 100% of the time. Besides, cars or anything else should be taxed once.

So you had the NSX. Saw one at the Acura dealer when I bought my RDX. Nice, but I would not spend the money on it....something like $220K. And that was back in 2017.

My 2023 Carrera T came to $163,960. As for RAS, it's benefit is not in turning circle, that would be stupid, instead it makes the car feel quicker and more responsive in high speed lane changes and turns, in effect making the car feel "smaller" and quicker, similar to feel as a 997, despite the fact the 992 is now a bit of a porker.

Here is my option list.

And how is the latter used in everyday public backroads and 400 series highways?

You're doing something right if you manage to make YOURSELF feel sick on a winding road!

And here comes all the Sport Classics and 3RS's for sale, just in time for Spring and with only 500km!

Who in their right mind would buy a SC for $600+ K. Crazy. Nutted turbo with a manual. FU money I guess.

I was too busy driving and having fun on the DDT at MOSPORT, but my girlfriend who was there spectating saw two drivers pull of the track, open their doors and throw up.

Reminds me of my days as a flight instructor and the odd student could not keep it down (they make a mess, they clean it up). Some people are not meant for certain activities and hell, I wasn't even doing any full power-on spins with them.

A buddy dropped by yesterday. He went into Porsche Kitchener last week as a first time p-car buyer. Got a
992 S allocation that locks this week, so he could configure it as he wished. Absolutely no wait time...
