It looks like one out in BC sold. 2 more were added to Autotrader last week. Prices have dropped between $5k and $10k on them. They are listed for about $10k-$15k less than the original MSRP now. What years have you guys been seeing sell?
I'm only watching carrera S, and 4S.
seems like the carrera T owners are trying to get a premium for less options.... compared to S+ models

Looks to me like mainly 18s (that's what I bought & C2S)
I'm not sure about 17s as that was outside my search

Thanks guys. Mostly listed at dealers, so that may explain the higher asking prices.

The dealers know how to manipulate the market, by trying to buy all stock before its listed privately.

Only 2 private listings in my search criteria across canada for S and 4S... 1 for S and 1 for 4s.

bought my car almost 2 years ago at markham pc, salesman told me that they actively go around asking owners if they want to sell or trade in their 911. that's where my car became available from.

Since getting my first Carrera T in September of 2022 I've watched these like a hawk. Movement is glacial. Having said that, there's been more movement in the last month than in the entire last year. Of course spring has much to do with it but many cars didn't move for a long time. The white PDK T in Victoria was the car I owned for 43 days. I traded it on my black manual T October 15th 2022........it just sold last week!

Years ago I came up with a theory. Any countrry living under a British rule, UK, Canada and Australia (the latter where I spend some time), you are taxed to death whether you are rich or poor. Move to the US if you want to be better off. Seven of my born-in-Canada friends have left Canada (5 to the US, 1 to Europe and 1 to South America) and amazingly they are doing far better and not taxed to death. I wish I wasn't so lazy and old, otherwise I'd move. Mind you, the Gold Coast might be a possibility. At least the weather is great.

In Oz, a car over ~$63K is taxed another 30+ percent. A Porsche 911 for CA$208,800 out the door was AU$404,520 out the door in Oz. In both cases using the Porsche web site for each country.

Oh, and I paid $1.25 per liter of gas in the US in our dollars. Eff JT.

This is quite true, as an alternative to the wealthy in Canada that can pull it off simply retire early and invest tax efficiently.

One can make a very comfortable income while keeping taxes low and not having to lift a finger on behalf of the government coffers.

I know many that have chosen this route and are living high on the hog while contributing very little...

As much as we as Canadians would like to help the Liberal platform is doing exactly that... promoting a less ambitious culture of why take risks and work hard if the rewards are not there... I am not that much worse off if i just coast in life.

As the son of immigrant parents, if you asked me 20 years ago where I would want my kids to live, I would've answered that Canada is a great place to be.

Now that I actually have kids, if they're productive, I'd tell them to consider leaving the country. If they turn out to be lazy, then staying here isn't so bad.
