Default How much is CPO on a 911?

I think it used to be $3650 for 2 years. Anyone know what the current cost is for a 911?

Yeah $4k for 2 years. Mind you it also requires all service to be completed and up to date so in some cases you may be be looking at another $3-4k if there is a major service due.

Ask me how I know...

I decided to gamble, I did not renew the cpo. My car is not a daily driver, I put on 3-4k a year on it. Its a crap shoot. I'll tell you in 2 years whether that was a good move lol

At least that's what I've been told when I car I was buying was CPO and when one I wanted to buy couldn't be (or wouldn't be for the price).

Just trying to put a number on the value difference of a CPO car vs a non-CPO with similar mileage.

Seems it's $4K plus whatever was put right vs what needs to be put right on the other car? CPO will have correct tires, healthy brakes, service performed Etc...

The work order on my CPO was about 10k. Major service (oil, plugs, filters), new N spec tires, new brakes, new brake pads, new front lip. Car had no dings and paint was well kept.

I would say the order of quality is 1.) CPO at Porsche dealer 2.) Non-CPO at Porsche dealer 3.) Used car dealer

If #2 doesn't sell, I think they are auctioned off because I see familiar cars re-surfacing at user car dealers. There was a 991.2 C4 manual that was at Pfaff for 135+ over this summer. I see it at another used car dealer for 119k right now. The C4 was in rough shape, lots of dings....even if they CPO'd the car I wouldn't want it.

The original owner of a 911 that has had all scheduled services completed by the dealer can buy a 2-year extended warranty before the expiration of the 4-year factory warranty without needing to do any inspections or remedial work. Effectively, this means the one-, two- and 3-year services will need to have been completed by the dealer. It's not CPO per se, but it's the same coverage. Only applicable to the original owner/leasee of the vehicle.

Thanks. Yes, I continue to do that with my Macan S...I have7 years coverage on my warranty currently. I'm told I can continue coverage until the car is 15 years old.
