Caught going 205 km/h on the 401 near Leslie. Doesn't say at what time, but looks like its in the evening.
From the pics, looks to be a 992 C4S. A 30 day license suspension and 14 day car impound.

Always wonder how a 20 year old ends up in one of these...
Obviously youth full exuberance without maturity , but how does he get these keys ?

As usual when it is a Porsche it has to be named and photographed. No idea how he could afford the car either but clearly is doing a whole lot better than I was at 20 when I had a 1956 English Pord Popular that I had bought for $4.. On the other hand I was quite immune to being caught for 205 km/h.!

My vehicle at 20 something. I recall racing a late 70's Camaro from Johnny's to Leslie on the 401 ... we got up to 260km/h before going our separate ways. Definitely not doing stupid things like that anymore.

Very different times, my car at 20. It had 23hp and the only way to get above 65mph on a highway back in the UK was to slipstream a truck, once you pulled out, you had seconds before all the momentum was gone and the truck would re-overtake.
Was at Uni, picked it up for 50 UK Pounds, lasted four years and ran like clockwork. It was that or no car.

I can't resist the reading the comments sometimes......"Should be speed limiters on all cars on Toronto roads. You shouldn't be able to go DOUBLE the legal limit in Ontario.
Porsche needs to be held accountable, pay for the policing fees."
I had a 98 Honda Prelude as my first car. Paid for by my job, however insurance was covered by parents.

A 78 Camaro has a 130 mph/ 200 kph speedo. The 85 MPH speedos came out in 1980 if i recall correctly. I agree with them not doing anywhere near 260 km/hour and I owned lots of them!

Did many stupid things going too fast in younger years and I was lucky not to get caught, but as my second vehicle I owned was a 1963 VW Camper , 55 mph was screaming fast. I even hit 70 mph once going down a long hill with 5 of our HS Cross Country /Team and the Asst. Track Coach. That felt faster than 100+ does in my Cayman!

Got it on the old Camaro... I just recall looking down at the speedometer, 255-260, and thinking , holy %&@ I'm not doing this again. Johnny's Banquet Burger was nice and warm when I got home.

In 1979 car and driver tested a 220 horse TA and it would do 132 mph, and I suspect it had been tuned for the occasion. The 1979 TA 6.6 was faster than any camaro since the 1974 z28 that had 245 horse.
