997 Turbo @ Mclaren Toronto
EDIT: Mclaren Toronto/Pfaff have now pulled the advert, so they must have been alerted about this thread or someone has informed them....
This one: https://www.mclarentoronto.ca/invent...d29958s783080/
VIN: WP0AD29958S783080
I was interested in this, clean Carfax etc. But buyer beware, this car was at a salvage yard at some point (at 78k) with no engine in it. No idea what the story is here (blown engine?), but worth alerting anyone who is not aware thinking they are getting a 'clean' one.

The pic of the engine compartment is confusing. the engine is not there but mud and rocks? looking at it again I guess the rocks and mud are under the car but looks like the mud is where engine was.

Blown engine? Wonder if its been rebuilt? Donor engine now in it? Non-matching numbers etc. Interesting that the engine is on a crate, with the heads off!
Looks like it was listed with CoPart in April 2017 with the 78k on the clock.
Also from the pics on Pfaff's website, looks like the PCM and A/C is out of place too, gaps etc.

HA!
Personally I like it, each to their own of course. It's a nice combo with the met grey exterior, plus it's half black as well, so not too crazy (black dash top, door card tops etc) .
Certainly better than hideous 'afterbirth' red interiors!

Carfax is worthless IMO. It is in no way a guarantee that a car is clean, the dealer just uses it as a marketing ploy. Like the POS Q5 that was CPO at Downtown Audi but had the worst orange peel I have ever seen and 16-17 mil paint. The dealer said well we don't meter paint. Someone should post a link to this thread in a google review, that will help to inform the masses of these shenanigans.

Report to OMVIC. For whatever it's worth and somebody should call it out to Pfaff.
Thanks for posting. Good reminder on buying used.
